Peter Brandt Remote Recording GmbH is one of the leading live recording companies worldwide.

An institution for more than 25 years, Peter Brandt has been responsible for numerous recordings by international rock, pop, jazz, and classical greats. Peter Brandt has recorded productions by The Rolling Stones, Queen, Sting, Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, Miles Davis, Joe Zawinul, Pavarotti, and many others. As before, Peter Brandt still continues to be in charge of the TV sound for many television shows, including the MTV Campus Invasion, Eurovision Song Contest, and the Amadeus Award.


For several years now, he has also worked as surround-mixing engineer on DVD productions of well-known artists, including Jon Lord, PUR, Roger Cicero, and Mario Barth. In 2007, he was awarded a Grammy® for “Some Skunk Funk” by the Brecker Brothers.


2008 was a year of change and innovation. With his “Remote Taxi”, Peter Brandt now offers an economical, compact alternative to the Recording Mobile. The unit combines professional equipment with small, flexible vehicles – and is of course operated by the same experienced people who are in charge of the large-scale productions.


The proven Recording Mobile, designed and built by Peter Brandt in 1990/91, was retrofitted in 2008. The entire control room was mountedon a semitrailer and expanded with another room that can be used as a lounge, production office, or audio/video editing and cutting room. The trademark high quality and wide range of possibilities – particularly resulting from maintaining the excellent acoustic properties – were augmented by adding further high-end components.

2008 war ein Jahr der Neuerungen. Zum einen bietet Peter Brandt mit seinem „Remote Taxi“ eine kostengünstigere und kompakte Alternative zum Recording Mobile. Professionelles Equipment wird hier mit kleinen, flexiblen Fahrzeugen kombiniert – und natürlich von den gleichen, erfahrenen Menschen der Großproduktionen betreut.

Das bewährte Recording Mobile, 1990/91 von Peter Brandt geplant und gebaut, wurde Ende 2008 erweitert. Der gesamte Regieraum wurde auf einen Sattelauflieger umgebaut und um einen weiteren Raum ergänzt, der als Lounge, Produktionsbüro oder Audio- und Videoschnittplatz genutzt werden kann. Die gewohnt hohe Qualität und Bandbreite der Möglichkeiten – insbesondere durch den Erhalt der exzellenten Akustik – wurde durch weitere HiEnd Komponenten erweitert.
